About: Tony Fox

Tony first coached youth football at Old Town, where he passed his level one coaching badge. In 2002 he become Manager of Eastbourne Borough Youth u13's, and took them to u16 level with some success. He then moved back to Old Town and passed the level two coach badge. In 2006 was asked to take over the management of the under 13,s.

Further to the Football Youth Development pro-gramme at Eastbourne Town and Old Town Youth, Tony has taken the then Old Town Youth u14,s to become the Eastbourne Town u15,s.Tony has incorporated the services of Ex Tottenham and Brighton player John Piercy as Coach.

About: John Piercy

John was a young striker who jumped ahead of his senior colleagues to steal the limelight on his debut against Crewe Alexandra in the  Worthington Cup in the 1999-2000 season for Tottenham.

Under George Graham, he dropped out of the first team picture, but  when Glenn Hoddle arrived John found himself getting games in the first team and become a regular member of the first team squad.

John was a good promising squad player and one who could have made the grade at Tottenham Hotspur.  However, he dropped out of the reckoning due to illness and was released by the club in the summer of 2002. John went on to have a couple of years with Brighton and Hove Albion, dropping back into midfield, before having to retire at the age of 25, as he suffered with colitis and dropped into non-league with Eastbourne Town to continue his game for two more seasons.

He was the first professional player ever to be on Eastbourne Town's  books and the first to come from Eastbourne.
