2007/2008 Results

Eastbourne Town Reserves 0 Whitehawk Reserves 2 - 12 October

Town lost 2-0 away at Whitehawk Town - started well and for 20min looked OK but a breakaway down towns left Whitehawk used the extra man and took the lead 1-0 ht. Again Town started the 2nd half well but the final pass let them down as well as giving the ball away then a mistake in defence gave the Whitehawk player the ball with just keeper Andy Albon to beat which he did 2-0 . Andy Albon again played well in goal but for others lets just say it was a bad night at the office but, hey, hav't we all been there before !!!! so,better luck next week

Town Reserves lost 3-1 two early goals were given away but as town came more into the game had they taken their chances could have had three first half goals !!! Hassocks then scored with the last kick of the half. Andy Albon kept town in the game with some fine saves Holman then gave town hope but with town on top just could not find the back of the net.

A 5 -0 away win at Westfield moved town into the next round.  Calum Leagate and Nathan Milroy gave town a 2-0 lead at half time Jamie Wright made it 3-0 and 16yr old Jacob Jones came on and hit two more

Town Reserves made the long trip to selsey  and returned home with all 3pts after a 6-1 win John Summerbell with a hat trick Brian Ray - Callum Leagate and an og keeps town just 4pts off the leaders. WELL DONE 

2-2 away at hailsham a good result against a team inc 7 1st team players. A 5-2 defeat at boro who included 6 1st team players and much closer than the score suggests. Back to back wins against sidley 2-1 and eastbourne Utd AFC 3-0 at the saffrons and an away draw at oakwood 1-1, leaves them in 5th place in the league. This is a very young talented squad most are 18/19yrs old with a few older heads in as well. Good start to the season.
